Her speciality focuses on narcissistic personality disorder and narcissistic abuse along with its effects on others. The NIH (National Institutes of Health) has funded her research on personality disorders, including a link between HIV and mental disorders. She has appeared across numerous media outlets and co-hosts the Sexual Disorientation podcast. Dr. Jordan Peterson, Canadian clinical psychologist, author, and online lecturer, is well-known in media circles for his interviews and across much of the public for his online lectures from his classes at the University of Toronto, where he is currently a Professor Emeritus. His best-selling books 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos and Beyond Order have sold millions of copies. His online lectures and interviews have had worldwide impact. Dr. Peterson has two ongoing online programs: SelfAuthoring.com is a series of writing programs designed to help people explore their past, present, and future; UnderstandMyself.com is a personality and self-assessment using the Big Five Aspects Scale. Steven Bartlett is an entrepreneur and author who hosts the Diary of a CEO podcast, one of the 10 most popular podcasts in the world. It followed his successful book of the same name. The book and podcast are popular for how "raw" they are, providing true insight from interviewees - and many of those interviewees are big names. In 2020, Bartlett was named to the Forbes "30 Under 30" List, a year before he released his book Happy Sexy Millionaire, which made the Sunday Times best-seller list in Britain.
Bessel van der Kolk has spent his career studying how children and adults adapt to traumatic experiences. His focus is neuroscience research, noting that "the only way we can change the way we feel is by becoming aware of our inner experience and learning to befriend what is going on inside ourselves."
His 2015 book The Body Keeps the Score, published in 43 languages, triggered numerous requests to the Trauma Research Foundation (TRF) for referrals to experienced clinicians who are capable of providing the various treatment modalities discussed in the book.
